Analog Signals, Network and Measurement Lab

Broad Areas of Virtual Labs
Electrical Engineering
IIT KHARAGPUR
Introduction
In this laboratory, students will get to explore and learn various concepts regarding analog electrical signals, networks and measurement of various electrical components. The experiments are developed on open source web-based platforms, so that the student doesn't need to download or install any third-party application. Each experiment is designed in such a way that, the student first gets to learn the theories well and then perform the experiment to enhance their knowledge.

Objective

The experiments of this laboratory can be broadly divided in three types. Basic Electrical Technology Laboratory:The experiments under this section are related to verification of different network theorems used in both dc and ac circuits. This section is intended for undergraduate students of all engineering disciplines.Signals and Networks Laboratory:In this category, students will perfoem experiments related to properties of various analog signals and neworks. This section is intended for undergraduate students of Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation and Computer Science Engineering.Measurement Laboratory:Experiments under this section are related to measurement of different unknown electrical components like capacitance, inductance, power measurements etc. This section is intended for undergraduate students of Electrical, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering.
