Artificial Intelligence (AI) is one of the fastest growing disciplines in Computer Science and Engineering and focuses on enabling computers to make intelligent decisions in different environments. Although AI is often taught from a theoretical perspective, students frequently find it difficult to visualize the internal working of search algorithms and their applications in real-world problem solving. The Artificial Intelligence Virtual Lab provides an interactive environment where students can explore and visualize various AI search algorithms through simulations and animations. The lab allows students to run algorithms on different types of data and observe their behavior, enabling a better understanding of their functioning and their time and space complexities.
The objective of this lab is to help students understand and visualize the working of fundamental Artificial Intelligence search algorithms. Through interactive simulations, students will learn how algorithms such as Random Search, Depth First Search, Breadth First Search, Best First Search, Heuristic Search, A* Search, and Mini-Max operate in solving complex problems. The lab aims to complement theoretical learning by allowing students to experiment with these algorithms, analyze their performance, and understand their applications in real-world scenarios.
