Introduction

Cyber security is recognized as an emerging subject as per AICTE (https://www.aicte india.org/sites/default/files/UG_Emerging.pdf) and the cyber security lab is a critical component of the same. The proposed lab focuses on the cyber security concepts as per modules 2 to 6 of PEC-CS 601 course as described within the AICTE UG CSE 2022 Curriculum.

Objective

The purpose of this lab is to create a better understanding of the cyber security concepts. This lab covers basics of cryptography, system security and exploitation, websecurity, intrusion detection and malware analysis. This lab helps the student to gain insight into the key cybersecurity concepts and enables them to apply in real-life scenarios.
